Update on Rotary Youth in Utah

From DG Penny Atkinson

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!

Mike Wells, District Youth Services Chair sent this to all the RYLARIANS and Youth Committee members this morning.  Just wanted to increase the spread of the news and include all of you also.
PLEASE LET YOUR YOUTH (RYLA, Interact, Rotaract and Youth Exchange) kids know about this Conference.  Mike has done a FABULOUS job and it will only strengthen our youth programs.  This will become an on-going program in the District and we hope to train these kids, just like you were all trained at PETS and in the Assembly so they can lead their clubs and take that with them to become future Rotarians.

THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP AND ALL YOU DO.  YOU ARE ALL AMAZING, FABULOUS, SPECTACULAR......ROTARIANS!

Penny
Dear district youth committee members, club youth chairs, and others that serve the youth in rotary district 5420.  One of my goals is to create greater communication amongst our youth participants in the district.  We now have an Interact club website www.utahinteract.com that has information and links for all of the youth programs, and now we have found an angel in the form of Charity Jessop that is taking the lead in creating and maintaining a facebook page for all district Rotary youth programs.  PLEASE, everyone click on the link and get yourself in the information loop,  http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/search/?o=2048&q=utahrotaryyouth%40gmail.com  It will take some time, but we hope to have every youth participant and adult Rotarians leaders in the database, so that we can have more effective communication.  Please spread the word to the clubs and the youth that you serve.  Thank you everyone, and THANK YOU Charity. In Rotary Service, Mike Wells Hello RYLA 2010 participants!

We hope that you had a blast at RYLA and are implementing the knowledge gained there into your lives:)  Just a couple of items on the agenda we wanted to inform you of:
